PRIVACY POLICY – EDOPS Call Logger

Mobile application for call logging

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how personal data of users of the EDOPS Call Logger mobile application, integrated with the EDOPS information system (hereinafter: “the Application”), is collected, processed, stored, and transmitted.

The Application is intended for employees and authorized users who log incoming and outgoing calls, enter notes, and forward that data to the central EDOPS information system.

By using the Application, the user confirms that they have read and understood this Privacy Policy and accept the described data processing practices.


2. Who is responsible for your data?

Responsibility for personal data collected through the Application lies with the organization that implemented the EDOPS information system and authorized the use of the Application (hereinafter: “EDOPS”). All inquiries regarding data protection may be directed to the system administrator or the data protection officer within your organization.


3. What data is collected

The Application collects the following categories of data:

3.1 Call data

  • Phone number of the caller and the called party
  • Date and time of the call
  • Call duration
  • Call direction (incoming / outgoing / missed)

3.2 Data entered by the user

  • Call description (text manually entered by the user)
  • Call category or topic (if provided in the application)
  • Notes and remarks related to the call

3.3 Technical and identification data

  • User account under which the user is logged into the Application
  • Device identifier
  • Date and time of data entry

4. Purpose and legal basis for data processing

Data is collected and processed solely for the following purposes:

  • Recording and tracking telephone communication within business processes
  • Forwarding and archiving records in the EDOPS information system
  • Reporting and analytics within the organization
  • Fulfilling legal obligations related to maintaining business records

The legal basis for processing is the performance of contractual obligations between the user and the employer, as well as the legitimate interest of the organization in the context of maintaining business records.


5. Forwarding data to the EDOPS system

All data entered by the user in the Application (call description, category, notes), together with automatically recorded call data, is forwarded to the EDOPS information system via a secured connection. The EDOPS system is the central platform and the data therein is subject to security measures and access policies defined by EDOPS.

The Application does not share data with third parties outside of EDOPS, unless explicitly required by law or contract.


6. Data retention

Data is retained in accordance with EDOPS internal policies and applicable legal regulations. Upon expiry of the retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymized.


7. Data security

The Application and the EDOPS system apply appropriate technical and organizational data protection measures, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
  • Access control based on user accounts and roles
  • Logging of system access and activity
  • Regular security reviews and updates

8. User rights

In accordance with applicable personal data protection regulations (Law on Personal Data Protection, Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, No. 87/2018), users have the right to:

  • Request access to the data being processed about them
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of data, within the limits permitted by law
  • Lodge an objection to data processing

Requests may be submitted to the data protection officer at your company or to the EDOPS system administrator.


9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

EDOPS reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy. Users will be notified of any significant changes through the Application or by other appropriate means. Continued use of the Application following the publication of changes will be considered acceptance of the updated Policy.
